OCLC offers an experimental project called classify where you can find out how a particular book has been classified by libraries who have added their holdings to that title.

clicking on the ddc tab will give you the breakdown of how it has been classified in dewey. clicking on the all tab will just show you the percentage of classified/unclassified.

learning all about library assessment in seattle this week. i will be part of the library assessment group upong returning to work. luckily, we had a week on assessment in my summer session LIBR204 course, so i had a bit of background and was not completely lost during the sessions.
today is the last day and i am fortunately checked out of the worst lodging establishment ever.
back at work after being away for more than a week at ALA and a few days off.
ALA was overwhelming but great. great sessions, receptions and socials.
